Addition to Helio X20 and X25

MediaTek has announced two more Helio X20 series products - a Helio X27 and an X23 and as you can figure out from the names, Helio X27 is faster than the X25 while X23 is a bit slower. 

While CEO questions Meizu MX6 purpose 

Meizu Pro 7 might be the flagship Meizu phone with a curved screen that goes directly after the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and similar edged devices. The picture of the rear surface appeared and at the same time someone leaked an internal mail from Meizu's CEO expressing concerns that MX6 is too similar to Meizu 6 Pro. 

Edge screen Galaxy competitor for $250+

The Galaxy S7 Edge is one of the best Android phones, but Fudzilla thinks the company is overcharging for a curved screen phone. Elephone has released a snap of what looks like decent hardware behind a curved screen for about $300. 

Helio X25 not just for Meizu

UMi is one of the strongest performing Chinese brands which becamse popular because of its sub $200 phones. Recently the outfit announced its UMi Touch phone powered with MTK6753 octa core and now it seems that its successor, UMi Touch 2 is a Helio X25 phone.

Helio X25 vs Exynos 7420 vs Snapdragon 652

The first benchmarks of the Meizu Pro 6 have surfaced with Gizchina testing it against the Samsung Note 5 with Exynos 7420 and the 2016 Oppo R9 Plus with the Snapdragon 652.

Three colours, 32GB and 64GB

The wait for the most significant Helio X25 design is over. The Meizu Pro 6 is out with its 5.2 inch phone, pressure sensitive screen, USB Type-C with 3.1 speeds, HiFi lite and fast charging.

First MediaTek Helio X25 phone

Meizu is about to launch its highly-anticipated high-end Meizu Pro 6 phone at an event taking place in China on 13 April.

Mid-April launch

The Meizu CEO, Jack Wong, has released a picture of a black Meizu Pro 6 phone. We saw this phone before, and people even mistaken it for an iPhone 7 and we have to admit it looks rather nice. 

MediaTek preaches open hands policy

Meizu will exclusively launch with Helio X25 processor and the CEO of Meizu has confirmed this on the public channel, but still, MediaTek responds that it is likely to expect more Helio X25 devices at later date.

Most with MediaTek SoCs

A recent leak has revealed that there will be seven phones from Meizu this year and all of them should have a MediaTek powered Helio SoC.
