Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 SoC and curved glass front for both phones
As scheduled earlier, Meizu has now released its two new smartphones in China, the Meizu 18 Pro and the Meizu 18. Both smartphones pack quite a punch with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC and both feature high-end screens with curved front glass.
With a "quad bezel-less display"
Alleged photos of the Meizu 16s and 16s Plus have been spotted online showing a phone with no notches or punch holes for what the company calls a quad bezel-less display.
No headphones, charging ports or SIM slot
Phone maker Meizu has announced a new phone called "Zero," which doesn't have a headphone jack, or a charging port, or a physical SIM card slot, or any buttons, or a speaker grill.
Rumored to announce three smartphones on April 22nd
Meizu has now officially announced the date for its Meizu 15 event which will be held in Wuzhen, China on April 22nd, where the company is rumored to unveil a total of three smartphones in the new Meizu 15 lineup.
Meizu signed a licensing agreement with Qualcomm in the last days of 2016 and since it takes some time to develop a phone on a new platform, it looks like that Meizu X2 is the Snapdragon 845 powered phone.
With 5.7-inch HD+ screen and side fingerprint sensor
After a couple of rumors and leaks, Meizu has now officially unveiled its M6s smartphone that brings 18:9 tall screen and a couple of other neat features to the entry/mid-range smartphone market.
Helio X30 10nm debut
MediaTek has been quieter than usual but it seems that its Helio X30 high end chipset will debut with the Meizu 7 Pro phone.
Sounds way to optimistic
A faster way to charge your battery seems to be a hot topic for many companies. Qualcomm has Quick Charge, MediaTek has Pump Express, Oppo has VOOC and the Huawei Mate 9 with 4000 mAh battery can charge 55 percent in 30 minutes.
Full charge in 20 minutes
While it did not have any new smartphones to show, Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has unveiled its new Super mCharge technology.
Octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM and 16-megapixel camera
As expected, Meizu has now officially launched its newest mid-range M5s smartphone, featuring a 5.2-inch screen, Mediatek octa-core SoC with 3GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel rear camera.
