AMD has released an update regarding its future CPU releases, including the 16-core/32-thread Ryzen 9 3950X as well as the new 3rd gen Threadripper CPU series, both of which will be debuting in November.
One for upcoming 3rd gen Threadripper CPUs
More AMD 3rd gen Threadripper rumors have appeared online and while the CPU has been already spotted in the Geekbench database, a list of three new HEDT chipsets have now appeared online.
What appears to be a 3rd generation Ryzen Threadripper CPU based on Zen 2 architecture has been spotted on Geekbench, scoring some impressive single- and multi-threaded numbers.
Going against Intel's Glacier Falls platform
According to a fresh report, AMD could be launching its 3rd generation Ryzen Threadripper HEDT CPUs in October, just in time to give Intel's Cascade Lake-X HEDT lineup a run for it money.

During its March 2019 investors call, AMD has released a fresh 2019 CPU roadmap confirming both that 3rd gen Ryzen desktop CPUs are scheduled for mid-year, as well as confirming that 3rd gen Ryzen Threadripper CPUs are coming.
The 24-core 2970WX and 12-core 2920X
As expected and announced earlier, AMD has officially added two new 2nd-generation Ryzen Threadripper CPUs to its lineup, including the 24-core/48-thread Threadripper 2970WX and the 12-core/24-thread Threadripper 2920X.
24-core and 12-core SKUs
According to details spotted on AMD's UK Twitter account, the company will launch two new Ryzen Threadripper SKUs, the 2970WX and the 2920X, both available worldwide on October 29th.
