Apple lover stuck with slower choice

Qualcomm has been signaling since the beginning of the 2018 that it might not end up in Apple's iPhone 2018 and at its last financial conference call it officially confirmed it.

Not an early adopter

Will be capped for Intel sake

There is no big surprise that iPhone X uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X16 modem and is capable of Gigabit LTE speed, but since Intel version doesn’t support this speed, both phones will be capped at the lower speed.

Licensing still on

There was a lot of noise about the recent news that Apple might skip the Qualcomm modem hardware for its 2018 phones, but even if they make this decision, QTL (Qualcomm licensing) will still get money from Apple.
