A former senior PR executive at Intel and AMD has now a senior vice president role at Ryff - a startup making waves in Silicon Valley and now with what appears to have an office in The Smoke (London).

Unreal Engine for render in videos

There is a new company called the Ryff and a few industry veterans dared to change the product placing market introducing a realistic rendering. Instead of remaking the video for every single market or target audience, they decided to use 3D rendering to replace the existing objects in the video.

Moving in real time

Cubic Motion,  which makes real-time model-based computer vision and facial animation, has appointed Roy Taylor to its Advisory Board. There is a video below showing what Cubic Motion is up too and it looks like that it has interesting motion capture tech for usie in the movie and gaming (unreal engine) industries.
