According to Videocardz.com, this information was confirmed during a press briefing, and reviewers are expecting RTX 4070 cards early next week. Of course, and as noted, Nvidia can easily change the price at the last minute.
Interestingly, the $599.99 price tag for the RTX 4070 puts it at the same price as the RTX 3070 Ti at launch, which was one of the popular Ampere graphics cards. The $599.99 price for the RTX 4070 will also give Nvidia AIC partners much more room to come up with higher-priced custom RTX 4070 graphics cards without going close to cheaper RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards.
The Geforce RTX 4070 is based on AD104 GPU, the same as the RTX 4070 Ti, but a cut-down version with 46 out of 60 SMs enabled, leaving it with 5,888 CUDA cores, 46 RT cores, and 184 Tensor cores. It will come with 12GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit memory interface, which ends up with 504GB/s of memory bandwidth.
Currently, the Geforce RTX 4070 is scheduled to launch on April 13th, with the first reviews coming online on April 12th.
