Nvidia rolls out Geforce Game Ready 344.48 WHQL drivers

Brings DSR support to Fermi and Kepler graphics cards

Nvidia have rolled out its newest Game Ready Geforce 344.48 WHQL drivers, which will optimize gaming experience on few upcoming games as well as enable Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) technology on Fermi and Kepler graphics cards.

According to the release notes, the new Game Ready Geforce 344.48 WQHL drivers will bring driver optimizations for upcoming games including Civilization: Beyond Earth and Lords Of The Fallen as well as enable the Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) technology, on Fermi and Kepler Geforce GTX 500, 600 and 700 series graphics cards. The Nvidia DSR was previously available only Maxwell-based graphics card and was introduced with Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards and should, at least according to Nvidia, let gamers enjoy 4K-quality graphics on any HD screen.

Built into Nvidia Geforce Experience, this software feature will allow gamers to increase image quality with a single click by rendering image at a higher, more detailed resolution, and then sampling it down to the native resolution of the screen.

In addition to optimizations for upcoming games as well as bringing DSR feature to Kepler and Fermi based graphics cards, the new Geforce Game Ready 344.48 WHQL drivers also feature new SLI performance optimizations and profile updates for bunch of games including Elite Dangerous, Escape Dead Island, Lichdom: Battlemage, Lords of the Fallen, MechWarrior Online, Monster Hunter Online Benchmark, Ryse: Son of Rome, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It also brings new 3D Vision profiles for Dead Rising 3 and Strife as well as 3D compatibility mode support for those same games.

As most recent drivers releases, the new Geforce 344.48 WHQL drivers also support all the Nvidia desktop graphics cards since Geforce GT 430 days, Nvidia mobile graphics cards since Geforce 410M as well as some Nvidia NVS and Quadro graphics cards. It will be available for Windows Vista, 7, 8 and Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and can be downloaded automatically via Geforce Experience or manually via Geforce.com driver page.
