There is a story circulating on the world wide wibble that Apple is refusing to take no for an answer when it comes to its iPad 2.
According to MacRumours Apple is paying close attention to all iPad 2 returns during the first few weeks to make sure there are no major production defects. However the team was puzzled by an iPad came back to Apple head office with a post it note on it that said "Wife said no."
Initially the team was amused and started telling the story of the sad bloke who had to give his iPad2 back because his wife had said no. But two of the VPs got wind of it and sent the guy an iPad 2 with a note on it that said "Apple said yes."
Macrumours thinks that a free iPad satisfied any objection the customer's wife might have had. But then again, perhaps not. There is not enough room on a post-it-note. The guy probably wanted to write one of the following:
“Wife said no keyboard.”
“Wife said no flash”
“Wife said no point.
“Wife said no sex for making such a brainless purchase”
