Apple pauses selling gear in Russia

It is not as if they can afford them any more

Fruity cargo cult, Apple  has decided to stop selling its over priced toys to the Russians.

The move is part of series of actions, Job’s Mob claims to be taking in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Apple said in a statement: “We are supporting humanitarian efforts, providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis, and doing all we can to support our teams in the region. We have taken a number of actions in response to the invasion.”

However, while the Tame Apple Press has been praising their favourite companys' actions, they have largely ignored what amounts to pure PR spin.

Apple’s presence in Russia has never been particularly great because the average Russian salary is between $264-684.  Apple’s expensive products have only been affordable as toys for Russian oligarchs and their children.

Even then, Apple has said that it has only “paused” product sales in Russia and “limited” Apple Pay and other services have only been “limited.” Apple is allowing RT News and Sputnik News to continue to publish their fake news to Russians, but is banning the download of their apps outside Russia.

Meanwhile, Apple has disabled both traffic and live incidents in Apple Maps in Ukraine "as a safety and precautionary measure for Ukrainian citizens." We guess because when you are being shot at by Russians the last thing you want to do is be lost.
