Uses its Arm-based Ampere Altra

Microsoft announced the general availability of virtual machines (VMs) on Azure featuring the Ampere Altra, a processor based on the Arm architecture. 

First cloud provider to manage it

Microsoft Ampere Altra-based Azure servers are now Arm SystemReady SR certified making them the first cloud solution provider (CSP) server to do so.
