At a glitzy presentation at the Salle Pleyel, a concert hall within spitting distance of the Arc de Triomphe, the CEO of Honor, George Zhao, unveiled the company's latest smartphone.

48MP phone coming to Europe in January

As teased earlier, Honor V20, or the View 20 as it will be known outside of China, has been officially announced with an in-screen front camera, and a 48-megapixel rear camera.

According to details that have been spotted online, it appears that the upcoming Honor View 20 could pack Huawei's flagship Kirin 980 SoC, in addition to the rear 48-megapixel camera and the corner hole in-screen selfie camera.

7nm Kirin 980 SoC and 8GB of RAM

Huawei's Honor Magic 2 has been spotted in Geekbench's database ahead of its scheduled unveil on October 31st, showing its single- and multi-core scores on the 7nm Kirin 980 SoC paired up with 8GB of RAM.

With a slide out camera

In addition to the Honor Play, Huawei's sub-brand teased the new Magic 2 smartphone, a smartphone without a notch, chin, and with a slide out camera.
