Samsung Galaxy 8 press image leaked

by on02 March 2017

Whoops

Samsung is expected to release its new flagship line-up next month, and there have been a number of leaks as to what the thing will look like – but this one has an aura of credibility that other leaks lack.

Firstly it comes from a press release which clearly was not approved for public consumption yet. Somehow it ended up in the paws of popular leakster Evan Nelson Blass @evleaks and yep it is rather nice.

We already knew that the phone will have a curved, dual-edge display. On the right, there is a lock screen button, while on the left we have volume rockers and a new button which is probably for Samsung's Bixby AI.  If this phone does not catch fire then  it will certainly put the wind up the fruity cargo-cult Apple which has none of these things.

Samsung will formally unveil the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ during a press conference in New York City on March 29th, and the phones are expected to launch globally on April 21st.
