Apple PR hints iPhones 6S sales to break records

More than 10 million in the first week

Love it or hate it, the new iPhone 6S / 6S plus are on good track to beat the last year's sales records. In the first week iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sold 10 million pieces. Here's the latest sales update from Apple.

Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement.

"Customer response to iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus has been extremely positive and preorders this weekend were very strong around the world, "We are on pace to beat last year's 10 million unit first-weekend record when the new iPhones go on sale Sept. 25."

Customers in Europe are set to wait for two to three weeks, the wait time for China based customers has increased to three to four weeks. Of course, Apple can totally control this and claim that they are not available in order to make you want it more.

It seems that 12 megapixel camera, aluminium that doesn’t bend as much and the 3D touch interface are enough for people to jump on the bandwagon. We will have Jony Ive in his sexy calming British voice to explain you how this works in a YouTube clip down below.

iPhone 6S is an excellent upgrade for iPhone 5S users as long as they don’t mind getting the larger phone. iPhone 6 users might also get it as they can sell their iPhone 6 for a reasonable amount of money.

The live camera is an obvious ripoff of the HTC Zoe feature a year later. Android community came up with multiple non-bending phones years before Apple too, and larger than 5.5 inch phones don’t bend either. The 12 megapixel camera sounds cute when Sony and many others who use Sony sensors routinely boast up to 20 megapixel cameras.

Meizu MX5 comes with a 20.7 MP, 5248 x 3936 pixels, laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and has been available for two months now. It can record 4K video, something that apple still cannot touch.

Whatever we write, customers around the world will buy a new iPhone anyway, they like their iPhone and they are convinced that Apple and only Apple makes the best phone. It is hard to argue with that.
