Gets reviewed as well

Although not officially announced by Corsair, the Neutron NX500 series PCIe NVMe 800GB and 400GB SSDs have appeared at as well as being reviewed.

The Corsair NX500 series PCIe NVMe SSD series uses a standard HHHL (half-height half-length) form-factor, PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface and is based on the Phison PS5007-E7 controller and 15nm Toshiba MLC NAND. Currently, it is available in 400GB and 800GB capacities with 1GB and 2GB of DDR3 cache, respectively.

While this sounds like the NX500 is pretty much the Corsair MP500 mounted on a PCIe adapter card, the components are directly mounted on the PCB, which gives it a bit more room for cooling all the components.

In terms of performance, the Corsair NX500 series promises sequential performance of 3,000MB/s read and 2,400MB/s write with random 4K performance set at 300,000 IOPS read and 270,000 IOPS for write. Both models come with a three year warranty.

As noted, the Corsair Neutron NX500 PCIe SSDs were spotted at by with a price set at US $319.99 for the 400GB model and US $699.99 for the 800GB model. Both are now listed as "out of stock" and no launch date is given.

Meanwhile, had a chance to review the Corsair NX500 PCIe SSD 400GB model so you might want to check that out as well.
