Reaching up to 2TB in capacity
Seagate has joined the crowded consumer SSD market with its newest Barracuda SSDs which will be available in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities as well as hitting read and write speeds of up to 540MB/s and 520MB/s, respectively.
Could cause confusion among customers
It appears that both Dell and HP have been caught advertising Intel's Optane SSD as "memory", or rather precisely, together with RAM, despite the fact that Optane SSDs clearly belong with storage as an addition to the HDD.
