Nvidia to bundle Metro: Last Light with its GPUs

by on12 April 2013

Snatches a good one from AMD

We have seen price wars, marketing wars, FUD wars and all other sort of "wars" between various companies in the industry but we never could have imagined that AMD and Nvidia would engage in what we can now call the bundle wars. While AMD has the upper hand with its recent Never Settle and Never Settle Reloaded bundles, leaving Nvidia with free-to play games, Nvidia managed to snatch an impressive AAA title from AMD, Metro: Last Light.

While AMD was bragging about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Nvidia stepped up and will apparently offer the Metro: Last Light game with GTX 660 and above. The deal between 4A Games/Deep Silver and Nvidia actually does not come a s surprise considering that most demos were actually running on Nvidia hardware and Nvidia logo is proudly standing on the Metro: Last Light web site.

The new Metro bundle promotion should start as of April 16th and by the looks of it, it could be one of the most impressive upcoming games. We are also sure that Metro: Last Light will be a part of any GPU benchmark for quite some time, just as it was the case with its predecessors.
