Macbook Pro gets Kepler inside

Nvidia is back to Mac

Picture of the new Mac Book Pro's innards leaked and you can see some of them here.

It looks like Mac Book Pros are yet again powered by Nvidia. It also means that 28nm mobile parts are doing well and therefore got picked by Apple for its latest MacBook refresh cycle.

We got this one confirmed by our own sources and the announcement will happen sooner than anyone is expecting. Unfortunately, our sources didn’t want to get into any specifics.

Talking to people close to Apple, we have learned that Apple picks the GPU based on the best choice available at the time of refresh. So, looks like Kepler / refreshed 28nm Fermi might be the way to go for them.

We don’t know If the retina displays are realistic or not, but we will find out soon enough.
