Although it was already pixellized and detailed earlier this week, MSI has now officially launched its newest MSI Geforce GTX 680 Twin Frozr III OC graphics card.

Based on the reference PCB, the new MSI GTX 680 graphics card is, of course, based on Nvidia's GK104 GPU with 1536 CUDA cores and works at 1058MHz base and 1124MHz boost clock for the GPU while 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with 256-bit memory interface remained at reference 6008MHz. The new MSI GTX 680 graphics card is paired with MSI's praised Twin Frozr III cooler with dual 8 PWM fans and five 8mm thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes. According to MSI, this one should end up to be up to 22°C cooler and up to 10.2dB quieter when compared to the reference cooled card.

Since we are talking about reference PCB with 4-phase design, this card needs two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors rather than 6+8-pin design that we saw on other factory OCed cards. The decision behind a reference PCB choice probably has something to do with the price as this one could end up to be cheaper than the rest of the factory overclocked custom GTX 680 cards on the market.

Unfortunately, the price or the actual availability date still have not been mentioned.
