Sledgehammer confirms this is for sure

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that Advanced Warfare will use dedicated servers. Announcements on server providers and platforms are coming soon.

Ghosts was the last game that supported the dedicated server technology and Advanced Warfare will be the second. Instead of relying on the quality of a users’ Internet connection, dedicated servers has proven the best want to experience the multiplayer and it levels the playing field by allowing players to connect to a server that is closest to them with the best performance.

While we don’t know yet on what form the dedicated servers will take this time around, we do know that the move toward dedicated servers is an improvement for sure. Advanced Warfare is due for release on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 4th.
