Two classic maps will make a return

More information about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack is coming into us from a variety of sources, but it does confirm that the new Map Pack (which is being called “Stimulus Package”) will contain five new maps; and two of them are classics from the first Modern Warfare release.

The two classic maps that are being released in this package from the first Modern Warfare are “Crash” and “Overgrown.” In addition, three new maps, which are called Bailout, Salvage, and Storm, will complete this Map Pack release. It is said that the entire Map Pack will check in at about 330MB, so you will need some space to download it.

We still are unable to pin down the pricing, but we keep hearing that it will likely be 800 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360 release which will arrive March 30th. Still, the pricing isn’t set from what we hear. We have no word yet on when the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the Map Pack will be released, but we have to assume that we should get more details on the pricing and release date when we get closer to the end of the month.
