Listed at €349

Although it has been a while since Point of View announced its Tegra based 10.1-inch tablet, it has been finally listed in the EU and we can confirm that the price will be €349.

In case you missed it, we are talking about a dual-core Cortex A9/Tegra 250 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen (1024x600) tablet running Android 2.2. The rest of the features include 512MB DDR2 + 512MB NAND memory, microSD slot, 802.11bg WiFi, HDMI output, one USB 2.0 port, 1.3M camera and a 3300mAh battery.

The €349 price tag might sound steep for a tablet but bear in mind that Toshiba's Folio 100 tablet which has similar, if not same specs, and weaker battery, is selling for €399, if you can find it available. The only cheaper tablet was the Advent Vega, which was available in the UK and apparently, only for a short time.

For a similar amount of cash, you can also go for the Archos 101 Internet Tablet that has Cortex-A8 1GHz CPU. The rest of the tablet offer is a bit more expensive. If POV manages to get this one shipped to its retail/e-tail partners soon, it might easily end up to be a cheapest and one of the first Tegra/Android 2.2 tablets in the EU.

We'll certainly keep our eyes peeled for more info on this one and until then you can find it listed here and here.
