Entrepreneur warns
Fruity peddler of broken iDreams, Apple is set to stick the knife into retailers and kill off bricks and morter type shops. A leading Aussie entrepreneur Ruslan Kogan said that retailers have been acting like “Apple's bitch” and become far too dependant on the fruity outfit.

JB HiFi and other such retailers highly dependent on Apple, while ensuring Apple maintains control of the customer via the iTunes ecosystem, Kogan told the MediaConnect Kickstart technology conference on the Gold Coast. JB HiFi said that Apple products and accessories made up more than 30 per cent its sales in the last financial quarter.
However Kogan said that Apple will eventually turn its back on such retailers, leaving them in the lurch.

He warned that Apple was silently waiting for the perfect moment to pull the pin on its third party distribution network. Kogan told the Sydney Morning Herald that when Apple pulls out, and that may well be the end of bricks and mortar technology companies as we know them.
