Could be worth more than its weight in ink jet printer ink

Micron’s MTSD1T5ANC8MS-1WT has arrived bringing the world its first 1.5TB microSD card – unfortunately it will probably cost you your firstborn to own.

The price starts at $420.53 which some sites have equal to the value of a 0.125-carat diamond. We prefer the firstborn standard because it has a nice biblical ring to it. Another valuable standard is HP inject printer ink but we are unsure if the microSD is that valuable.

The price is expected to drop to $381 making the microSD card costs about the same as its weight ($1.1m per Kg).

Micron was the first out of the with a 1TB card and it has been with us for four years and launched at about $450 and is now a more sensible $87 depending on where you look.
