PCIe 4.0 and support for Microsoft's DirectStorage API

Sabrent has officially announced its latest Rocket 4 Plus G SSD lineup, a new lineup with optimized O2 GO firmware and support for Microsoft's DirectStorage 4 API.

Designed to decrease CPU overhead and I/O latency, DirectStorage API should provide the full advantage of modern SSDs, reducing load times and more.

Advertised as optimized for gaming, the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus G SSD lineup will be available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities and offer 7 GB/s+ of bandwidth.

Sabrent has also unveiled a special Gaming Heatsink, which will fit any M.2 2280-sized SSD.

You can check out the full lineup over at Sabrent's website. The suggested price is set at $169.99 for the 1TB, $299.99 for the 2TB, and $699.99 for the 4TB version.
