Seven new SoCs

Intel has refreshed its new Braswell lineup with seven more SoCs

According to CPU World  the new mobile Braswell processors are Celeron N3010, N3060, N3160 and Pentium N3710, and their only advantage over predecessors is 7 - 15 per cent higher maximum Burst frequency. The desktop J3060, J3160 and J3710 products also have graphics unit clocked 6 - 17 per cent higher than their mobile counterparts.

"Braswell" low end models are Celeron J3060, N3010 and N3060. These are dual-core SoCs with 2 MB cache, and HD 400 graphics, clocked at 320 MHz. The N3010 has CPU cores operating at 1.04 GHz and have a four Watt TDP.

The two other chips run at 1.6 GHz and have six Watt TDP. As well as the 2Ghz burst the GPU frequency can be also boosted to 600 MHz on N3xxx parts, and to 700 MHz on the J3060. The Celeron J3160 and N3160 have two extra CPU cores. .

Pentium J3710 and N3710 offer higher maximum burst frequency and better on-chip graphics than the Celeron J3160 and N3160 processors. The Pentiums come with HD 405 graphics unit, which has 33 per cent more execution units. The J3710 has the maximum GPU frequency increased to 740 MHz.

All processors support DDR3L-1600 memory.
