All thanks to Sandybridge
Chipzilla's deal with Big Content thanks to its Sandybridge based DRM is paying off.

Yesterday Intel launched Intel Insider, which uses a feature, built in Sandybridge. It allows you to download and watch protected High Definition streaming content on your computers. It also allows you to download a movie even before its date of release so that you can watch it as soon as it is released in theatres without having to wait to download it on that date.

The technology requires you have a Sandybridge chip with in-built graphics, you can visit any participating Internet movie site. Intel's Managing Director for South Asia, R. Shivakumar told Techtree that the launch of Intel Insider in India is going to be big in the piracy stricken market. Shivakumar said that using the technology Bollywood can use Intel Insider, to watch their favourite movies in HD at their homes on the day of release itself.
