Far from being cutting edge, Apple is using 16nm and not the 10nm manufacturing process as many expected. Most of its competitors will soon announce their 10nm SoC.

Wants top of the range
The much rumoured never seen Microsoft Surface Phone is not likely to have Intel inside. According to the latest rumours, it will have the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 instead.
830 and 828 in 10nm FinFET
We already expected a Snapdragon 823 which would be a faster version of MSM98996, better known as Snapdragon 820. Now the recent leak indicates that there might be a 828 and 830 coming later this year using the 10nm FinFET process.
