According to reports coming from Chinese Weibo, Xiaomi will be allowed to put the Leica logo on the back of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone. This is the first time a smartphone will carry that logo, unless you count the rare Leitz Phone 1 which was available only in Japan.

The same source suggests that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have black leather and white ceramic back options.

Earlier rumors about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra were showing a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP periscope zoom one, and a 48MP 12mm ultrawide.

As you know, Xiaomi and Leica announced their partnership earlier last month, and have teased the first smartphone for July, with all reports pointing to Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Leica previously had a deal with Huawei.
