While all eyes are pointed at the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the latest leak spotted by Kacper Skrzypek over at Twitter points to a third member of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series smartphones, the Xiaomi 12X, codenamed Psyche.

The mystery phone, now named the Xiaomi 12X, was spotted in an IMEI certification list as 2112123AG model number, codename Psyche. The phone should pack a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with 2400x1080 resolution, HDR10 support, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It should be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC, and come with a 50-megapixel main camera.
This is far from flagship status that the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will bring, including the Snapdragon 898 SoC, 100W fast charging, Leica-branded camera and more.
The Xiaomi 12 series is expected to be announced by the end of this year or early next year. It is possible that Xiaomi might have a smartphone based on Qualcomm's new chipset by the end of this year.
