While the invite does not reveal a lot of details, it is obvious that the company won't launch a new smartphone, but rather a special edition of the flagship OnePlus 5, which  launched just three months ago.

According to details provided by TechAdvisor site, which managed to get their hands on the invite, the company will partner up with designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. This means that we will probably see a new color option that will carry the designer's logo on the back. In terms of hardware, the smartphone will be most likely identical to the standard OnePlus 5.

Bear in mind that OnePlus did a similar thing with its OnePlus 3T smartphone, which came in all black color and the Colette logo on the back.

The special edition of the OnePlus 5 will most likely be a limited edition but hopefully, there will be more than 250 devices we have seen with the limited edition OnePlus 3T Colette.
