HTC's entry-level Desire Q officially launched

HTC has already launched one new mid-range smartphone, the Desire P, and now the Desire Q showed up in Taiwan. The Desire Q is an entry-level 4-inch smartphone that similar to the HTC Desire U.

The new Desire Q measures 118.5x62.3x9.3mm and weighs 114 grams. It is built around a 4-inch 800x480 screen and based on still unknown 1GHz single-core CPU paired up with a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage expandable by a microSD card slot. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Beats audio, 1650mAh battery, 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

It is currently only available in Taiwan and it is still not clear if we will have a chance to see it in Europe, the States, or anywhere else in the world for that matter. The price in Taiwan is set at NT$6,990 (around US $234).
