Tablets in August
Nvidia can be really sensitive about claims of future products it makes, especially Tegra. They were not happy that we expressed doubts about their August launch timeframe for consumer devices based on the upcoming Kal-El Tegra 3 core.

Now Nvidia went on record claiming Kal-El, or should we say next generation Tegra consumer devices, mainly tablets, will come in August. This is what they officially state. It should be fun to buy them in retail in August, which many of you know as the back to school period. Nvidia also said that Kal-El, next generation Tegra superphones are coming in December. Let's see this one again the company shipping them to retail on this date. Tegra 2 devices are still hard to find, and we know that Google's Honeycomb delay is mostly to blame.

Nvidia was also keen to remind us that Qualcomm's quad-core only comes to the sampling stage in early 2012 with actual products coming in late 2012. Texas Instruments ' OMAP 5 is scheduled for 2h 2012, roughly a year after Kal-El.

Let's hope that Nvidia can keep up with its schedule and that Tegra tablets are going to happen.
