Engadget got word that Nexus One users have started receiving Adroid 2.2 Froyo updates and it appears that the launch is now official.
Of course, it will still be a while before we see updates for all Android phones capable of supporting the new build, but it’s good news nonetheless.
Froyo is being touted as the most stable Android build to date and it will also bring a host of new features to Android users, including Adobe Flash support.
You can find the official announcement here.
