€419,00 price tag

HTC's Desire has already found its way onto Amazon.de and is currently listed for €419,00. In case you missed the MWC 2010 announcements, the HTC Desire is easily described as a souped-up Google Nexus One with Sense and Flash 10.1 support.

The Desire features a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display and a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, which makes it quite desirable despite the much less direct Google support compared to the Nexus One. The Nexus One's trackball has been replaced with trackpad and it features HTC's Sense with Friend Stream as well as the all mighty Flash 10.1 compatibility.

Unfortunately, the availability date hasn't been revealed, but HTC has issued a statement that it will be "broadly available" in the early part of the second quarter.
