Dual-channel "Blue Culvert"

Recently taken by the guys that were making Mushkin kits for quite some time, the Germany-based Exceleram has rolled out a new pair of low-voltage DDR3 kits. These 4GB kits are rated to wor at 1.35V and should draw less power and better overclocking potential compared to the standard 1.5V kits.

The ELV001A kit, features two 2GB modules clocked at 1333MHz with 7-7-7-21 latencies, all at 1.35V, while the ELV002A works at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-24 at the same voltage. Both kits are cooled by Exceleram's Blue Culvert heatspreaders that should be enough to keep those modules at reasonable temperatures.

Although the price or the availability date haven't been announced, the quick glance at our price search engine shows that the 1333MHz kit is already listed at €68,46. You can find it listed here.
