The cooler the better

Palit
Microsystems has released its own design GeForce 8800GT, kitted with the company's cooling system to provide better thermal performance and at the same time reduce its noise level.

According to a press release, the Effective Cooling System fits on Palit GeForce 8800GT and the temperature of the GPU stays cooler even when the card is overclocked. The noise level is successfully reduced to 29.5dB and the 3-Phase Power Supply System for Palit’s own design GeForce 8800GT allows a better power solution than other 2-phase power supply systems in the market.

This means that the card is able to stay at a lower temperature while lengthening the life of the graphics card. It also enables the overclocking ability. No word on the price or clocks yet.
