Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti 16GB to end up with 165W TDP

by on16 May 2023

Based on AD106-351 GPU

Earlier rumors suggested that Nvidia plans to launch the Geforce RTX 4060 Ti in two versions, with 8GB and 16GB of VRAM. These two versions will share a lot of similarities, for obvious reasons, but will have a different GPU SKU.

According to the latest rumor, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB will use the same PG190 board design, but come with AD106-351 GPU SKU, which will most likely have the same CUDA core amount and other specifications. The TDP is a bit higher, hitting 165W TDP, as opposed to 160W for the RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM. As noted by Videocardz.com, it is still unclear if it will use the same 18Gbps GDDR6 memory.

As noted earlier, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB version will launch in the second half of July, while the 8GB version is launching on May 24th.
