Powercolor spooks out its "Red Devil" RX 6800 series

Impressive design and high-end components

Powercolor announced a seriously sinister product called a Red Devil Radeon RX 6800 series graphics cards, and according to our information, we could see them on retail/e-tail shelves as early as late next week. Scary!

The Red Devil RX 6800 series cards will offer what is claims is  a unique design with RGB and ARGB connector, and it is a definitely  monster with a triple-slot design, triple-fan cooler with a hefty heatpipe heatsink, and a full cover backplate with "precisely engineered" vents.

While Powercolor is still holding out on actual clock details, we hear that these are finalized and judging from information that the RX 6800 XT is setting world records on air cooling, hitting GPU boost clock 2650MHz, we suspect that the Red Devil series will have a decent factory-overclock as well.

While there were no clock details given, Powercolor did say that the Red Devil RX 6800 series will come with Dual BIOS option, with OC and Silent options, as well as use a custom PCB with 14+2-phase VRM with DrMOS, high polymer capacitors and draw power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. That's almost satanic.

The Powercolor Red Devil RX 6800 series will have an illuminated custom I/O bracket and come with two DisplayPort, one HDMI, and one USB-C output.

Hopefully, custom versions from AMD AIB partners will fix the current availability issues for the Radeon RX 6800 series, and these will be coming in force to retail/e-tail shelves as of late next week, depending on the region.
