AMD rolls out new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.2 drivers

Support for RX 480 and some new features 

Following the official launch of the Radeon RX 480 graphics card, AMD has released its new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.2 Beta drivers, which bring support for the new RX 480 but also adds a few new features, including the new overclocking AMD WattMan utility.

Available for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavor, the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.2 Beta drivers add support for the new Radeon RX 480, which is available in retail/e-tail as of yesterday. It also includes plenty of new features including the new "manual power-management utility" or overclocking software, known as the AMD WattMan.

The full release notes also note that the list of features include AMD Crossfire Toggle, an option under Radeon Settings that allow users to enable and disable AMD Crossfire in general profile, HDMI Scaling, an option that allows users to adjust their display image scaling on HDMI connected displays, Display Color Temperature and Desktop Color options, which allow users to change color options and a tab that displays Vulkan version information.

There aren't many of game specific updates as the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.2 Beta drivers only include new AMD Crossfire profile for World of Tanks game but it also comes with a couple of fixes, mostly related to AMD Crossfire in some games.
