EVGA offers free shroud to Hybrid graphics card owners

by on08 October 2015

For GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti and Titan X Hybrid

EVGA has announced that it now offers a free upgrade for owners of Hybrid series GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti or GTX Titan X graphics cards.

While it does not improve anything other than the looks of the graphics card, the new shroud does look quite a lot better than the original one and includes a new LED on the front that can be controlled the same way as the Geforce logo on the top of Nvidia reference cooled GTX graphics cards.

In case you missed it before, EVGA's Hybrid series are pretty much based on reference PCB design but feature an all-in-one liquid cooler that takes care of the GPU, while the blower fan cools down the VRM and the memory.

Calling it the Hybrid Faceoff Program, the shourd can be yours for free as long as you can prove that you own one of those three Hybrid series graphics cards.

You can check out more at EVGA's dedicated Hybrid Faceoff Program site.
