Another picture leaks

While we already had a chance to see a nice teaser of the upcoming Radeon Fiji GPU-based graphics card from EA/DICE's Johan Andersson, AMD has now released a new video teaser for it while some other site has leaked a much more revealing picture of a real graphics card.

While

from AMD does not show much, it does suggest that the new flagship Radeon graphics card is "coming soon", and although we expect it to be launched at PC Gaming Show on June 16th, AMD might have changed the launch date and brought it closer to Computex 2015 or E3 2015 show.

While the AMD official teaser does not show much, a picture leaked at OCN Forums and spotted by Techpower.com, is a bit more revealing. While we still do not have full details, it is now obvious that the upcoming Fiji GPU based Radeon graphics card is much shorter than what you would expect from a flagship graphics cards, mostly thanks to the High Bandwidth Memory which is stacked on the GPU package.

According to the leaked picture, the new Radeon Fiji GPU based graphics card, for which we still do not have a precise name, will have a factory all-in-one (AiO) liquid cooling system with single 120mm radiator. While shorter than recent flagship graphics card, the power usage is still high as it needs two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors.

According to known details, it also comes with a slightly different display output configuration as AMD got rid of the DVI connector so it will only have HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2a outputs.

There will probably be plenty of leaks as we draw closer to the launch date and hopefully we will have a glimpse of what the new Radeon is all that it was rumored to be.
