Although it was detailed back when the GTX 680 was announced, EVGA has now officially announced its latest Hydro Copper series graphics card, the EVGA GTX 680 Hydro Copper.

Featuring the full cover Hydro Copper waterblock, the new EVGA GTX 680 HC also comes with a custom PCB with 5-phase VRM design and has 8+6-pin PCI-Express power connectors. The card is also factory overclocked to 1150MHz for base and 1215MHz for boost clock while those same 2GB of GDDR5 memory ended up clocked at 6300MHz.

According to EVGA, the Hydro Copper wateblock can reduce the GPU operating temperature by as much as 50 percent, of course, depending on your watercooling setup. In addition to the GTX 680 Hydro Copper card, EVGA's Hydro Copper waterblock is also available separately.

While the EVGA GTX 680 Hydro Copper card is only listed at US $699.99 and still not available, the Hydro Copper waterblock can be bought for US $159.99. In case you are interested, you can find some details regarding it over at EVGA forums.
