Nvidia working on wireless display technology

GTC 2010: It won’t be Intel only
Nvidia has confirmed that they are playing with wireless display technology and that they will be happy to see it happening.

For Nvidia's GPUs that already communicate with the chipset via the PCIe notebook slot, it would be the same to talk to wireless and send the frame buffer somewhere else, so this can give you a good idea that Nvidia will end up having its own version of wireless display.

You can see a good use of this for notebooks and netbooks powered with Nvidia GPUs and it would be cool to see this with tablets, but we can only confirm that this should work on some future Geforce based notebooks.

We don’t have a date on this but it is something that should be possible next year. We believe it will come with Nvidia Sandy Bridge notebooks, but most of them will have Sandy bridge wireless already. Let’s see if Nvidia can make a better one.
