Passive cooling

Sapphire has unveiled its latest addition to the HD 5000 series, the HD 5670 Ultimate Edition.

The new Radeon HD 5670 Ultimate Edition has all the stock clocks but features a rather neat heatpipe passive cooler. Although the front of the card is a single slot, bear in mind that it has a rather large heatsink block on top that streches behind the card so be sure to check for any clearance issues in your case.

The HD 5670 features 400 stream processors and works at 775MHz for the GPU, and 4000MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface. It has DVI, HDMI and Displayport outputs.

The Sapphire HD 5670 Ultimate is not yet available but can be found listed all over Europe with an average price tag of around €125.
