Games Convention 08:  Not so hot ones

ATI plans
to introduce two new titles that will make use of DirectX 10.1. ATI has managed to convince Phenomic and Sega to implement this latest iteration of DirectX in their new games.

Phenomic is working on a game called Batleforge, while Sega plans to release Storm Rise. These will enrich the DirectX 10.1 titles, but there are still not many major games that are going ATI's way.

You need to put some cash inside to actually make DirectX 10.1 get in the game, but it is obvious that Nvidia with its The Way It's Meant To Be Played is doing a much better job.

Nvidia's and TWIMTBP partners official line is that DirectX 10.1 is a minor update, and that they would rather go to DirectX 11 instead of going for 10.1; and ATI simply cannot convince the world otherwise.
