Almost 650MHz clock

Nvidia has three new cards. The first one is 55nm GTX 260, which will keep the same brand, the second is dual GT200b 55nm branded Geforce GTX 295, and that last is faster GT200b single 55nm chip based Geforce GTX 285.

Samples of GTX 285 should be out and about at CES, while we keep hearing that the card will be launched in mid-January, at least officially. The new GTX 285 should be clocked at 648MHz core, 1476MHz Shaders and 2.48GHz memory. It still has the 32 ROPs, 80 TMUs and 240 shaders, but this time around the card's TDP is 183W, while the GTX 280 has a 236W TDP, 602MHz core clock, 1296MHz Shaders and 2.2GHz memory.

The introduction of Geforce GTX 285 means the GTX 280 is facing death, so Nvidia is trying to sell the last of these cards to make space for the new one. We are very sure that many will overclock this card beyond 700MHz.
