Up to 24-cores, higher boost clock, and 192GB DDR5 support

In addition to plenty of 14th gen Raptor Lake Refresh desktop SKUs, Intel has unveiled its new 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh HX-series mobile processors at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. These will bring improved performance thanks to higher clocks and other improvements and even promise some decent gaming performance, especially thanks to Intel APO.

Cores don't count. Things are getting worse, not better

A  recent presentation by Google engineer Peter Hochschild has revealed that chip design is going downhill and there are higher-than-expected hardware errors that "showed themselves sporadically, long after installation, and on specific, individual CPU cores rather than entire chips or a family of parts".
