No more Waiting for Godot

Unity and Unreal have a new contender to deal with and its name is Godot. After over 18 months of development the Godot team released Godot 3.0, reworking the core almost in its entirety. Juan Linietsky, Godot's founder and lead developer, isn't being shy about the projected sucess of Godot either, claiming it is "ready for the big leagues" and that it is "in the same league as the current big, commercial [game engines]".

Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai steps down


Company's second "mid-range" business plan starts in April


Sony's top corporate executive is pruning himself from the branches of CEO and passing the baton of leadership to new management, according to the company's latest press release. Kazuo Hirai, who served six years as CEO, will soon become Chairman in a move that allows him to focus on other strategies and milestone targets under a second "mid-range" business plan that starts in April.

Mario is driving onto your mobile drivers


Now that Nintendo has already released hits such as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Super Mario Run on both iOS and Android, it's choosen to bring its signature death race to the market. Nintendo haa teased the next instalment of its mobile market takeover: Mario Kart Tour.
