As announced and spotted by Videocardz.com, the updated Aya Neo 2021 Pro, and the Aya Neo 2021 Pro Retro Power, which is the special edition, will get the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U APU, which is a decent upgrade from the Ryzen 5 4500U in the original Aya Neo 2021. Unlike the 6-core/6-thread Ryzen 5 45060U, the new APU packs 8-cores/16-threads, as well as comes with Radeon Vega 8 GPU.
The updated handheld console still comes with 7-inch 1280x600 IPS screen, 16GB of LPDDR4x-4266 memory, and 1TB/2TB NVMe SSD options. It will still come with analog triggers, updated WiFi, as well as the same 12,300mAh battery, just like the Aya Neo 2021 non-Pro model.
The special Retro Power edition will get a portable dock, optional GaN charger, and mechanical keyboard, but has a $100 higher price. The Aya Neo 2021 Pro will start at $1,215 for the 16GB/1TB version and the Retro Power will start at $1,315. The 2TB options will come at a later date and Aya Neo did not reveal any information about the price.
