Geforce Game Ready driver coming soon

At the special Geforce event at Gamescom 2017, Nvidia said that it has been working with Activition and Bungie to bring both HDR and SLI support to both Destiny 2 and Middle Earth: Shadow of War games.

The move to bring HDR and SLI support to Destiny 2 does not come as a big surprise since Nvidia was announced as a close partner for the Destiny 2 launch back at E3 2017 show in June, where it was said that the game will have native 4K support, uncapped frame rates, adjustable field of view and plenty of other improvements on the PC.

Today, Activision and Bungie joined Nvidia at the Gamescom event to say that both HDR and SLI will be supported and that HDR will be available for testing when the Destiny 2 PC beta starts on August 28th.

Nvidia was quite keen to announce that the Geforce GTX Destiny 2 bundle is also back again for a limited time and available to those that buy eligible Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards or systems and laptops equipped with those GPUs.

Nvidia also revealed that its Destiny 2 Beta Game Ready driver will be available as of today which should enable all those features. Earlier in July, Nvidia also revealed minimum and recommended system requirements for Destiny 2 Beta, which included Geforce GTX 1050 as a minimum or GTX 1060 as a recommended graphics card. Of course, all those neat features and higher resolution will be reserved for those running on a high-end graphics cards as the GTX 1080/1080 Ti.

Destiny 2 PC Beta launches on August 28th for Early Access and it is probably one of the most anticipated games so far, poised to attract many players from day one.
